This is the AAU club season plan for 6th–8th grade — 3 practices a week, 2 hours each, built around learning moves rather than an aggressive Week 1 installation. The middle school team (5x/week, 2 hours) uses the separate Middle School Season Plan instead. Technique names match the Beginner Fundamentals app and Mat-Side Reference 1:1 — tap over there for full step-by-step and video for any move. Every day runs two technique blocks of 2–3 named moves, with real time spent on each rather than cramming. The full 25-move curriculum is complete by the end of Week 4, leaving five full weeks for live wrestling, chain drilling, and AAU-specific competition prep — including a walk-through of the actual weigh-in and match format before the season’s first tournament.
